Starting today, we will not be ushering you out at the end of the service. Please feel free to greet visitors and guests and visit with your neighbors and family while in the warmth of the sanctuary before leaving. It is our hope to create a warm and welcoming worship experience as well as to enhance our fellowship time with each other.

　

A Special Meeting of the congregation will be held February 26 immediately following worship service to vote on whether or not to move forward with building an addition on the church.

 

AUGSBURG ENVELOPE USERS - We are in the process of updating the Augsburg Envelope System. Many users will receive a new envelope number on their March/April Augsburg Envelopes. Any January/February contributions will be credited toward your new envelope number. Please contact Greg Robinson or Sheryl Wiese if you have questions about the update. Thanks.

Zion Lutheran Men in Mission Soup Supper - next Sunday (Feb. 12th) 5:00 - 7:00 PM followed by entertainment. They will be serving chili and chicken noodle soup, pie and desert. Free will offering going to Tiffany Hill, Virginia, NE to help with medical expenses. Supplemental Funds provided by Homestead chapter of Thrivent Financial.

 

Instrumentalist Group - will be playing several numbers (6:45 PM) before the entertainment. If you would like to play please call Alnora for music. We will have only one practice, next Sunday.

 

Sew Days - February 13 & 14th starting at 9 AM with a potluck lunch. Come for the whole day or a few hours.

 

JYO YOUTH-helpers are needed by the our Men in Mission for their Annual Soup Supper on Sunday February 12, 5-7 PM. You would be clearing tables and help where ever needed. We can set up shifts. If you could help an hour it would be much appreciated! Let Linda Blackwell as soon as possible her cell phone is 402-314-4567.

The LYO would like to thank Terry & DeAnn Oltman, James & Kelly Lenners and Pastor & Sue for hosting the Progressive Supper last Sunday evening. Good food and fellowship was held by all attending! Thank you!

 

LYO is offering Cinnamon Rolls next Sunday, February 12th, for $1.00 each so treat your special Valentine with a sweet, yummy cinnamon roll Sunday morning.

 

Youth Quake Early Bird Registration is due February 8th. Money may be given to sponsors Kristine Adams, Linda Blackwell or Kari Zeman. Dates are April 13-15th.

 

Filley Volunteer Firemen Pancake Feed - Sunday, Feb. 5th serving from 11-1 @ Sapp Fire Building. Freewill donation. All you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage & drink. Proceeds used to purchase additional equipment for the Fire Department.
